Making Nagios Easy to Configure
Nagios is an open source network monitoring. It is very flexible in terms of service monitoring and alerting options. However, being one of the few people at my job that isn't afraid of a CLI I ended up being responsible for all of the configuration. I have been looking for a web interface to make configuring Nagios not so much of a chore for the others I work with. This is where GroundWork comes into play. GroundWork provides a complete wrapper to Nagios making configuration a snap. Installing Groundwork was a straight forward process. GroundWork even provides the ability to import your existing Nagios configuration files. So far I'm really impressed by the product. So if you are an existing Nagios user or looking for a system/network monitoring solution I would highly recommend checking out GroundWork.
